1. click on "Upload Attachment" tab below reply text box
2. choose file and attach
3. add comment if needed
4. click "Place inline" box.

Okay,
I fiddled with the board's attachment settings and turned on 'Thumbnail' so you get a smaller version of your uploaded pic set inside your message and then when you click on it, the board will give you a fullsize one.
